Welcome to DNS Global Initiatives!
Domain Name System (DNS) Global Initiatives is a media platform on ensuring that humanity understands the need for machines and the role of the internet across the world.
In 2001, we came into the Media Space (Aspiring Newbies) with Pen and Paper. We only hoped that we could make a difference; We did!
We started the Sphinx Media (TSM). We had the biggest Media Board, standing a ruler taller under the Afrika’s Amphi Theater in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (our silicon valley). Elections got us looking for our board, hidden for personal interest.
Fast forward to 2006, we joined NiRA as Statesmen Foundation Inc. We hoped we could be the difference. It showed us troubled waters ahead. Institutions scaling to be better than each other, while we actually needed each other more. It was a challenging period for Africa as a whole. Media Agencies sprouted up to become Experts, working diligently to make the real count in the race for productivity in a shadow; just then, we saw the need.
In 2008, we wanted to have a count on the DNS Industry; who controlled the internet? We did our best to make the race fruitful. Today, we are proud to say that our relevance since 2008 is not forgotten.
What we do, we do. Where do you belong in the cycle of the Internet?
Bridging the Distance…within and beyond, online.
